During the convening of the Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board (MCCB) in the Municipality of Lebak held on on January 31, 2024 at JMAC’s Garden, Brgy. Aurelio Freires, Lebak, Sultan Kudarat, the MCCB expressed their full support to the forthcoming conduct of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System in the municipality.

This undertaking was called through the issuance of Executive Order No. 23, Series of 2024 issued by the Municipal Government of Lebak.

The meeting was presided over by Municipal Administrator Joel Q. Bernales as authorized by Honorable Mayor Frederick F. Celestial. This was also participated in by the Barangay Chairpersons/ representatives, MPDC staff and other LGU personnel.

PSA-RSSO XII Regional Director, Atty. Maqtahar L. Manulon, CESO V delivered a message soliciting support of all stakeholders for the successful conduct of the 2024 CBMS in the municipality.

CSS Herlita G. Caraan discussed the overview of the Community-Based Monitoring System, its objectives and importance, and the legal bases relative to this.

The CSS informed the body that the CBMS can generate information that will enable the LGU to locate beneficiaries, households, government service facilities, among others.

A resolution was passed by the body to formally express the agreed support to the 2024 CBMS.

RD Manulon expressed his gratitude to the participants and to the LGU for their enthusiasm to the implementation of the 2024 CBMS as demonstrated by the large number of attendance.
